Ken grew up the son of a honkey tonk man and lives in the Texas Hill Country with his wife and partner, JudyAnn, and a houseful of children. They live on Bear Creek and together became Bear Creek WILDERNESS.
Ken’s passion for
music started with guitar at his grandma’s knee and was fueled by his daddy’s playin’ and singin’ country &

hurricane. Ken played guitar, but more important was surfing the gulf and
riding his Harley. He was “Hell on the water and hell on Wheels.” When he

Ken worked as hard as he played, mechanic, bouncer, truck driver. The hard work literally broke his back. He went back to school and began a new career in computers. Then he broke his neck. A rainy day, a Harley, a teenage girl running a stop sign. Disaster. That experience gave birth to “a new and gentler Ken”. While in the hospital, the Lord blessed Ken and he was healed. He became, and is, “a walking quadriplegic.” He was able to walk without being able to feel his feet. He plays guitar without being able to feel all his fingers! Today, he still rides a Harley with JudyAnn on board.
Ken & JudyAnn started playing at community events, music
festivals and other venues in 2001. In 2008 they started and continue to play a
weekly gig at Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant & Cantina in
